There are several ways to get involved and help the widows and their children:

Your donation will be used for building houses, paying school fees, paying for medical treatments and feeding the families. Please indicate on the memo line of your check how you would like the funds used - Widows Community, Emergency Needs or School Fees.
Approximate Costs:
- Transport for medical needs - $1
- Medicine - $10/month
- Rent - $25/month
- Widows Education/Training - $50/month
- 3 Meals per Day - $100/month
- Primary School - $100/year
- Secondary School - $400/year
- 3 Room House - $8,000-10,000
- Sponsor a child to attend school: When a person sponsors a child, they give that child an opportunity to be educated, cared for and fed during the day and a chance to break the cycle of poverty. This is gives them hope and a future. You are also able to build a relationship with the child and their mother. This is a wonderful way to break the distance barrier and get to know one of these women personally. Children in Uganda go to school year-round in three terms, Jan-April, May-July and Sept-Dec.
